2. On your Squarespace site, add the Video block to your page. Click on “</>” in the Video URL text box.

3. Paste the embed code into the text box. It should look something like this:

<iframe width="1460" height="571" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dm5M7Wlu2Vo"
frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture"
allowfullscreen></iframe>

4. Add all YouTube Play Parameters to the end of the URL. To add the first parameter, add a "?” and the parameter (i.e. autoplay=1) to the end of the URL:

<iframe width="1460" height="571" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dm5M7Wlu2Vo?autoplay=1" frameborder="0"
allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Additional parameters are added on with the ampersand (&).

5. The Loop parameter must be used in conjunction with the Playlist parameter, otherwise it will not work.

  • The loop parameter should be set to 1

  • The playlist parameter should be set to the video ID, which is the long string of numbers and letters at the end of the URL.

  • In this example, you would add “&loop=1&playlist=Dm5M7Wlu2Vo” after the autoplay parameter, so the full embed code would look like this:

<iframe width="1460" height="571" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dm5M7Wlu2Vo?autoplay=1&loop=1&playlist=Dm5M7Wlu2Vo"
frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen>
</iframe>

Hope this helps you out!
